Based on the specifications provided by the customer, metal is melted in one of five furnaces using certified material and then verified using an arc / spark spectrometer to insure that the metal chemistry meets both the customer’s requirements as well as our metallurgist’s requirements.

The ceramic shell molds are fired in ovens in order to achieve maximum strength and then removed, placed on sand beds, and filled with the molten metal, where the liquid metal duplicates the patterns in the cavities of the ceramic shell. After the metal cools and freezes, the ceramic is removed exposing the metal components on the assembly.
